The Account Executive supports our programs with field sales, e-commerce, marketing, and direct mailings, which allows Sage Tree to constantly promote our manufacturers' products to our customers. The Account Executive constantly monitors the market for further opportunities and looks for new ways to grow sales for their products. Responsibilities: - Overcome obstacles & strive to improve selling, phone, and presentation skills to achieve goals.
- Listen attentively & actively seek to understand information from all points of view.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and retail buyers.
- Present information effectively and persuasively.
- Close the sale by addressing customer concerns & consistently moving towards commitment.
- Work with the client to help evaluate market segmentation, competitive threats, product positioning, and new product launch programs for their retail business.
- Opportunity to work with national retailers.
Job Requirements: - 1 – 2 years selling in a business environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- A background in online marketing is extremely helpful
- A strong desire to contribute to a positive work environment and create success for our clients
- Has drive & motivation to sell aggressively.
- Must have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Limited Travel
